Job description

Job Title: Battery Technician โ€“ EV Teardown
Pay:ย $17โ€“$21 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule:ย Mondayโ€“Thursday (4 days, 10-hour shifts)
Overtime:ย Fridays as needed
Shifts Available:ย 1st Shift & 2nd Shift
About the Role
We are seeking aย Battery Technician โ€“ EV Teardownย to safely and properly disassemble electric vehicle batteries for further processing on a lithium production line. This role plays an important part in battery recycling and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all warehouse safety procedures โ€” safety is our #1 priority
ย 
  • ย 
Perform daily equipment setup
ย 
  • ย 
Conduct daily inspections of electrical tools and PPE
ย 
  • ย 
Disassemble electric vehicle batteries according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
ย 
  • ย 
Sort battery components into proper storage containers
ย 
  • ย 
Label containers correctly for storage and shipment
ย 
  • ย 
Comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations
ย 
  • ย 
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • ย 
Ability to frequently lift 10โ€“40 lbs independently and over 40 lbs with team assistance

  • ย 
Forklift experience preferred

Basic electrical experience

Ability to operate tools and equipment safely

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
