Job description

The Senior System Engineer is responsible to design & develop & release battery pack/Module system performance and requirements. Lead battery design team to develop a battery system to meet the customer requirements. Battery management system (BMS) performance and function is also a part of battery system engineer's responsibility, who need define and release BMS performance and function to BMS team as design input. Organize battery/Module design review meeting at every project milestone. Work with battery cell team to build up battery performance model and life model, predict battery performance through pack lifetime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Face/communicate with customer to understand/ transfer battery system requirements.
  • Co-operate cell team to recommend cell proposal for a particular battery system.
  • Organize battery system development team to work out battery/module design proposal.
  • Build up cell performance model through cell test dataand predict cell voltagecell thermal performance under different drive profile provided by customer.  
  • Responsible for planning battery system development validation requirements and test
  • Report/Explain battery system design proposal and plan to customer.
  • Organize battery/Module design review meeting at every project milestone.
  • Support product project matched pairs for reporting activity
