ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities may include perform batching function, communicate with central dispatch regarding daily driver and equipment status, maintain inventory levels and operation of plant processing equipment. May enforce all company policies that pertain to operations, safety and environment. May provide work direction to the workforce at assigned location(s). Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of all key performance indicators.
Important Notice: This job location is in Waxahachie, TX however Mansfield will be the closest stationary location.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Using computer or manual controls, efficiently batches product with proper mix, making necessary raw material and moisture adjustments.
  • Effective communication with drivers to complete customer orders, schedule deliveries, complete paperwork and small plant maintenance. May run front end loader or other material handling equipment to charge plant with aggregate, sand or other materials.
  • Provides leadership and/or guidance to less experienced employees on more complex or heavier assignments. Coordinates work to ensure that plant work is completed in a timely manner and according in order of priority. May train new employees.
  • Ensures that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed at all times.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
  • Other Responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Professional Experience (Required): Minimum of 1-3 years of related customer service or dispatch environment experience.
  • Computer Skills: Dispatch systems, Personal Computer, Telephone and Telephone Headset.
  • Basic computer and mathematics skills
  • Sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time
  • Climb on equipment, stairs, and ladders as needed
  • Walk on all types of surfaces (uneven and/or slippery ground conditions) and enclosed spaces
  • Work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry, and/or dusty conditions.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed which will include Saturdays and overnights

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
