Job description

Summary This position is to provide support to the Women's Basketball coaching staff in all phases of the program. This position must also uphold the mission of the BGSU athletic department and the institution and be in compliance with University, Conference, and NCAA rules. Essential Functions Special Events coordination and execution.

Play for Kay, Alumni Day, Advisory Counsel, Game Ops, official and unofficial visits, etc. Daily Operations Work with the coaching staff and Director of Operations with the flow of day-to-day operations of running a sport program. Recruiting Assist with organizing official and unofficial visits of recruits; organize and coordinate recruit game-day logistics.

Responsible for travel reservations for coaching staff during recruiting period and for prospective student-athletes during visits. Coordinate Academic Support and Monitoring of Academic Progress Serve as the liaison to the Director of Compliance for admission procedures and assist in filing with the NCAA Eligibility Center for all prospective student-athletes. Assist with coordinate of team activities Assist with team events, practices, community service, marketing initiatives and media relations.

Coordinate and organize the end of year banquet and senior send off for each season. Schedule and oversee all logistics of events. Alumni/Donor Correspondence Send out email newsletter about coaches, previous games, future games, BG players in the pros, etc.

Supervision of managerial staff Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications The following Degree is required: Bachelor's Degree. The following Experience is required: 1 year of experience in a college, club and/or professional basketball support staff setting and/or coaching The following Licensure, Certifications, or Registration is required: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and comply with the university's vehicle use policy.
