The assistant basketball coach will assist with all aspects of a NAIA collegiate basketball program prioritizing recruiting, on the field coaching and other duties assigned by the head basketball coach. This position will report to the head men's basketball coach and athletic director.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  1. Successful collegiate coaching, recruiting experience preferred.

  1. Demonstrated ability to serve as a strong Christian role model/mentor for student-athletes.

  1. Demonstrated ability to intentionally contribute to the spiritual development of student-athletes.

  1. Demonstrated ability to integrate faith in teaching, coaching, and team culture.

  1. Demonstrated ability to develop a recruiting plan to attract, recruit, and retain quality student-athletes who are an institutional fit and can succeed at Simpson University.

  1. Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal.

  1. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

  1. Must be proficient in technology, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office software applications.

  1. Must possess current certification in First Aid and CPR.
