Job description

Department
Department of Athletics - Men's Basketball
Responsibilities
Coordinates video presentation for coaching staff by position for weekly review sessions during Fall and Spring season to include evaluation forms, comments, and ranking. Manages recruiting board, prioritize recruits by position according to depth charts needed for upcoming recruiting year(s). Prepare weekly report to include commitments/decommitments and X reports. Help manage drill data, videos, and workout results. Assist Director of Player Development in any other responsibilities.
Schedules all actions with recruits during home games, unofficial/official weekends,and practices; distribute game tickets, facility tours, and meeting with coaching
staff/academic support. Communicate with recruiting services to ensure all prospects on board is in the system. Responsible for connecting/maintaining
relationship with high school coaches and communicating all pertinent information (i. e. camps, games, open practices, special announcements). Coordinating ticket
requests for high school coaches and recruits. Assists with summer camps. Responsible for player relations and point of contact with the alumni.
Responsible for film and scouting videos. Manage all video operations for the men's basketball program, including practice, game, and recruiting video. Coordinate the
filming, editing, organization, and distribution of practice and game footage using video analysis software (Hudl Sportscode, Hudl, Synergy, FastModel, etc.).
Develop comprehensive scouting reports on upcoming opponents, including personnel tendencies, offensive and defensive concepts, special situations, and
statistical analysis. Analyze team performance through advanced analytics and video breakdown to assist the coaching staff in strategic decision-making. Prepare
game presentation materials, scouting edits, and film sessions for coaches and student-athletes. Create individualized player development edits highlighting
strengths, areas for improvement, and progress throughout the season
Supervise the daily responsibilities of the graduate assistants and student volunteers in the recruiting office. Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years
