General Description


The Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach will lead the basketball program and help establish a culture of excellence, discipline, and student-athlete development.


Key Areas of Responsibility

The key responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:


  • Plan and oversee all team activities and practices.

  • Develop game strategies and player development plans.

  • Foster leadership, sportsmanship, and academic success.

  • Supervise assistant coaches and team personnel.

  • Organize offseason development opportunities.

  • Build relationships with families and the school community.

Qualifications

  • Basketball coaching experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategy.

  • Ability to build and sustain a successful program.

  • Commitment to mentoring student-athletes.

Schedule & Commitment

  • Practices typically held after school hours (3 days a week/ 2 Games per Week).

  • Attendance required at all home/away games

  • Season runs approximately from November through March

Compensation

  • Stipend position based on experience and school policy.
