Join our Team at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco, CA as a Physician – Pathologist! 

Pathology Services is seeking an intermittent fee basis Physician Pathologist to cover tasks in the interim while staff are on extended medical leave and/or until new recruits are hired and on-boarded. Pathologists are critical to the operation and functioning of the medical center diagnostic services. This position will be utilized through December 31, 2027. 

Benefits and Features 

  •       Task: Gross supervision and microscopic evaluation and reporting of daily surgical cases, cytology cases, intra operative frozen section consultation, inpatient and outpatient FNA, rapid on-site assessments & daytime call
    • Rate: $2,300
  • Task: Frozen section and intraoperative consultation-Afterhours evening
    • Rate: $150
  • Task: Frozen section and intraoperative consultation-Weekend/Holiday 
    • Rate: $400 

Tour: Intermittent Fee Basis

Salary/amount: Rate is per task
