Schedule:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM Monday - Thursday
Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM Monday - Thursday
Training: Day Shift, Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (temporary during building startup)
Job Summary
The Machine Operator supports the production team by assisting with the setup, operation, and monitoring of extrusion equipment in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. This role is handson and essential to keeping the extrusion line running safely, efficiently, and with consistent product quality. Ideal for candidates who enjoy machine work, teamwork, and learning new technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Operate manufacturing equipment and production machinery according to work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Perform machine setup, start-up, changeovers, and shutdown activities.
Monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.
Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks using measuring tools and gauges.
Complete required production, quality, and inventory documentation.
Load raw materials and supplies into machines as needed.
Package, label, and stage finished products for shipment.
Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and communicate concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
Maintain lot control, product traceability, and accurate records.
Follow all safety procedures and immediately report hazards or equipment concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized work area through 5S and housekeeping practices.
Work cooperatively with team members to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.
Cross-train on multiple machines and production processes as needed
Qualifications
Preferred
1+ year of machine operation, production, manufacturing, assembly, or industrial experience.
Experience operating automated, semi-automated, or mechanical production equipment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, or gauges.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Required
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
Frequently bend, reach, lift, push, and pull materials.
Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Work in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and moderate noise levels.
Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
