Job description

SMV Recruiting, LLC is actively looking for a Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Mascoutah. They are looking for someone with machine operator experience, ideally brake press, or similar press machines. Candidates must have the physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for a full shift. This role will focus on operating and maintaining production machinery, completing quality checks, and keeping the line running safely and efficiently. This is a direct hire role with full benefits and a pay range of $23.50-$25.00/hr.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery
  • Monitor equipment and make adjustments to maintain quality and output
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and changeovers
  • Operate a forklift and electric hoist to move materials
  • Follow safety guidelines and keep the work area clean and organized
  • Communicate machine issues to supervisors and support continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, bend and lift up to 40 pounds for a full shift
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to follow standard operating procedures
  • 1-2 years machine operating experience preferred
