Basic EMTs often encounter unpredictable situations, such as high-stress emergencies, difficult weather conditions, or non-cooperative patients. To prepare, it's important to stay physically fit, practice effective communication, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure. Regular training, strong teamwork with paramedics and other EMTs, and debriefing after challenging calls can help Basic EMTs build resilience and improve their response to unexpected scenarios.
