Job Title: Administrative Data Entry Specialist / Administrative Clerk

Job Description
This Administrative Data Entry Specialist role supports a fast-paced, structured office environment by processing high volumes of administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records. You will enter and manage permit and project-related data, organize and maintain digital documentation, and ensure all records are completed efficiently and correctly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys repetitive work, values accuracy and consistency, and takes pride in keeping information organized and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Enter permit and project-related information into internal databases and tracking systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Scan, organize, and electronically maintain documents and records to ensure they are complete and properly archived.
- Prepare and generate standard correspondence and letters in support of administrative processes.
- Record inspection results and accurately document findings in company systems.
- Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets and other tracking tools to reflect current information.
- Review data for accuracy and completeness before entry to maintain data integrity.
- Organize and manage digital files so information is logically structured and easily accessible.
- Follow established procedures and workflows to ensure compliance with internal standards and to support consistent data quality.
- Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned, such as filing, front desk support, and general office administration.
- Provide basic customer service and administrative assistance as needed to support office operations.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in administrative support, clerical work, data entry, or document processing (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to accuracy in all work.
- Proficiency with general computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar management.
- Ability to scan, file, and organize documents in both physical and electronic formats.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle high-volume workloads.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfort working in a high-volume, process-driven environment.
- Effective administrative support skills, including clerical and front desk responsibilities.

This is a Contract position based out of Macomb, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
