Conventional Stamping Operator

Principal Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Conventional Stamping Operator for 1st shift to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.

The stamping operator will setting up and operate conventional stamping equipment and systems. Reports required data and maintain production schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload parts on machinery and maintain and or clean equipment according to PMC standards.
  • Examine parts to identify defects and variations from blueprints and ensure Quality approves the first piece inspection for production.
  • Operate and adjust equipment to maintain proper work procedures.
  • Report accurate production information to supervisor and in ERP System.
  • Maintain and efficiently perform production assignment/ expectations from Supervisor within allotted time period per the production schedule, while following work instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to read measuring equipment i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Understands necessary tools and instructions to ensure quality of work.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education/Certification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • 6 months previous conventional stamping experience.
  • Fork lift certified
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
