ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes but not limited to:

  • Must have prior CNC Lathe experience. Experience with Tsugami Swiss type machines is preferred.
  • Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
  • Basic cleaning, oiling and general maintenance of CNC machines.
  • Continuously stock machines with production materials as required.
  • Change tools, drills and inserts in machine as needed.
  • Knowledge and skills to read blueprints required.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills to read micrometers (O.D. Mics, I.D. Mics, Calipers) required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma plus one to three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to read and interpret measuring equipment such as gages, blueprints, micrometers, calipers, depth mics, comparators and profilometers.

· Must be self-directed and take initiative to learn new skills pertaining to maintenance of the assigned machines.

· Requires a basic understanding of how to use the tools required in the operation and maintenance of the CNC machines.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

· Long periods of Standing throughout the workday are required

· Mechanically and mathematically inclined.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:

  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Use of depth micrometers, pin gages, calipers, comparator, and other basic gage methods required for verifying part quality.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work well with others.
Requirements:

Day Shift Hours- 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

Night Shift Hours- 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday - Friday ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
