• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of students and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services, addressing a variety of concerns ranging from stress and anxiety to more complex psychological challenges.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops that focus on relevant topics such as emotional resilience, coping strategies, and personal growth.
• Collaborate with a range of campus partners, including academic advisors and student organizations, to create a comprehensive support network for students.
• Drive outreach efforts and mental health awareness campaigns, promoting wellness events that educate students and destigmatize mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all interventions, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines to ensure student safety and privacy.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse group of college students, each facing unique mental health challenges influenced by academic pressures, personal relationships, and life transitions. You will have the opportunity to support students in their journey towards emotional well-being and academic success, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.

• An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in understanding the mental health concerns specific to a higher education setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students and collaborate within a diverse campus community.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy methods applicable to a university counseling setting.
• A track record of managing a diverse caseload efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a school-based or university counseling center setting, addressing issues commonly faced by young adults.
• Familiarity with mental health legislation and the ability to navigate the intersections of counseling and educational initiatives.
• Demonstrated involvement in prevention programming and community outreach related to student health and wellness.
