Position Summary

The Warehouse Worker (Runner) is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule, which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction, and independent decision-making skills are required. Must be able to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00 to $19.00

Responsibilities

Morning Warehouse Associate (REQs/Receiving)

  • Works between 7AM and 4PM (shifts available seven days per week!)
  • Receives deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality before rotating with on-hand stock in our warehouse/store rooms
  • Fulfills requisition sheets to accurately restock bars, concession stands, or kitchens for upcoming eventsย 
  • Stages products for upcoming events
  • Receiving product deliveries
  • Proper food rotationย 
  • Processing spoilageย 
  • Distribution of productย 
  • Equipment maintenanceย 
  • Overseeing proper product transfersย 
  • Maintains working knowledge of all existing concessions locations: geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.

Afternoon/Evening Warehouse Associateย (Events)

  • Works between 3PM and 11PM (shifts available seven days per week!)
  • Fluctuating, event-based scheduleย

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of foodservice, hospitality, or warehousing experience.
  • Similar venue experience is a plus.
  • Physical ability to execute warehouse duties.
  • Food Service Certification (ServSafe)ย 
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner that fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc. pertaining to venue concession operations.
  • Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking.ย 
  • Able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.ย 
  • Required to frequently lift heavy objects (a team lift is always encouraged when needed!).
  • Experience operating heavy-duty equipment, including electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and forklifts, is strongly desired.
