Job description

Lakeview High School in Cottonwood is seeking to hire a positive and inspiring Junior High Baseball Coach for the Spring of 2027 who will model and teach respect by honoring & mastering the sport while providing life lessons and encouragement. 

JOB GOAL: To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the coach must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes. To upgrade his/her knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc. 
 

Responsible for planning and leading practices, teaching fundamental baseball skills, promoting sportsmanship, and supervising student-athletes during practices and competitions. Works to develop player growth, teamwork, and a positive program culture while maintaining communication with athletes, families, and school staff.


Stipend is $1,141.00 for the season.
