Job description
The 2026 event will once again be in a hybrid format (both in-person and virtual) so candidates who are interested in attending in-person will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses to Phoenix (flight, hotel, meals, etc.). In addition to the conference, in-person attending candidates will be given an opportunity to visit MLB organizations (TBD) during Spring Training in Phoenix to gain career insights and network with working professionals. As an additional resource thanks to our partnership with SABR, all candidates selected by Major League Baseball will also receive a complimentary Rapsodo Certification course ($395 value).
We are seeking qualified candidates interested in careers in baseball operations such as Salary Arbitration and Major League Operations, Research & Development, Scouting, Player Development, and Sports Science.
- Undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates are eligible to participate.
- Individuals with studies in business, computer science, statistics, and economics are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Former professional players with interest in transitioning back into professional baseball are also strongly encouraged to apply.
