Wage Range: $12.00-13.00/hour

Description of the Position: Do you enjoy watching sports and have an interest in statistics? The St. Olaf Athletic Department is looking for students interested in compiling statistics at home athletic events. You will attend all home athletic events for a particular sport(s) and compile statistics using a computer program.

Sports include soccer, football, volleyball, hockey, basketball, baseball, and softball.

Transferable Skills: Attention to detail, communication skills, ability to work in a team and independently

Duties and Responsibilities: Students will work with the Assistant AD for Strategic Communications to compile statistics at home athletic events in the sports listed above. Students will be trained on the relevant software programs required for each sport. Students will work in small groups at the home games for the sport(s) they work and are expected to be at each of the home games for that sport(s). Work hours are almost exclusively on afternoons and nights during the week and on weekends.

Qualifications: Interest in and knowledge of the sport(s) you work are required. Training will be provided on the computer program. Attention to schedule and willingness to arrive on time and stay until work is done. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and attention to details. Strong work ethic, responsibility, and ability to work independently.
