Job description

Title: Athletic Communication Student Assistant

Department: Athletics

Reports To: Director of Athletic Communication

Join Dordt University's athletic communication office and assist at home events.

We are seeking students interested in play by play and official scorekeeping for soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, baseball and softball.

Play by play position responsibilities:

Provide play by play for Dordt University livestreamed junior varsity and varsity competitions.

Prepare accordingly for games to provide a professional level product.

Official Scorekeeping

Input and assist with in-game statkeeping utilizing the Presto Stat program

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to communicate and speak clearly.

Broad basic knowledge of all sports and/or interest in learning (paid training).

Basic understanding of camera operation (training provided).

Dependable 

Availability to work evenings and weekends during athletic seasons.

Requirements:

Must be eligible for work-study employment.
