Job Description:ย Reporting to the Director of Corporate Partnerships, this position is responsible for interacting directly with sponsors on behalf of the team, in addition to the responsibility of executing all elements found in sponsor contracts, including customized promotions and events at the stadium.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand each sponsor contract assigned to them
  • Serve as the main contact for existing sponsors, building strong, long-term relationships and proactively addressing their needs
  • Entertain sponsors and other guests in the stadium at Dragons games and other events
    • Work most Dragons home games (including many nights, weekends, and holidays)
    • Provide VIP pre-game tours
    • Lead or assist sponsorโ€™s plaza events and promotions before and during games
  • Plan out the timeline for execution of each element in the sponsorโ€™s contract including, but not limited to:
    • In-stadium signage
    • Facilitate mascot appearances
    • Implement and attend planning meetings; brainstorm with sponsors on how to best meet their goals and utilize their sponsorship to the fullest
    • Market sponsor promotions
    • Secure ticketing inventory
  • Create and execute promotions to meet the business goals of the sponsor including:
    • Work with staff on creation of collaterals, social media, ads, in-stadium marketing, website, etc.
  • Event planning and execution of all sponsor events at the stadium including large company picnics, softball games/tournaments, luncheons, team building activities, field days, public events, etc.
  • Assist coworkers with sponsor events, promotions, and projects as necessary
  • Gather proof of performance throughout the season and create a comprehensive annual report for each sponsor at the conclusion of the season
  • Work tirelessly to find additional opportunities to over-deliver on value for sponsors
  • Create unique opportunities to focus on partner retention with existing partners
  • Maintain and work within sponsor budgets
