The Bullpen Catcher plays a vital role in supporting the training and development of athletes across professional, collegiate, and youth levels. This individual is responsible for assisting with on-field activities, providing athlete support, coordinating sessions, and maintaining a high-performance environment. The role offers valuable exposure to performance training and player development, with opportunities for advancement into coaching and administrative positions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily training setup, flow, and breakdown in the bullpen
  • Support professional, collegiate, and youth athletes during warm-ups and drills
  • Track athlete throwing performance and development data
  • Coordinate session schedules and communicate with athletes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bullpen and training area
  • Adapt to the needs of the team and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Occasionally travel with the team to support bullpen activities
