THE ROLE

TheManagerof Ticket Sales & Business Strategy serves as the strategic sales and analytics leader for the Legends Global partnership with Georgia Tech Athletics. As a trusted advisor to Georgia Tech leadership, this role provides the strategy, insights, and data-driven recommendations that influence business performance, revenue growth, and organizational decision-making. TheManageroversees the development and execution of strategic initiatives across season ticket sales, renewals, premium seating, group sales, single-game tickets, and retention efforts for Georgia Tech Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, and select third-party events.

Blending strategy with execution, this position partners closely withAthleticsLeadership, External Relations, the Ticket Office, and the Alexander-Tharpe Fund to drive sustainable revenue growth and deliver a best-in-class fan experience. TheManagerowns the analytical framework that supports strategic planning, revenue optimization, and business intelligence while ensuring CRM systems, reporting tools, and data infrastructure are fullyoptimizedto enhance performance across ticketing, premium seating, corporate hospitality, and annual fundraising.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

  • Serve as the strategic business leader for ticket sales, CRM, analytics, and revenue optimization across the Legends Global partnership with Georgia Tech Athletics.

  • Develop and execute the annual revenue strategy for season tickets, renewals, premium seating, group sales, single-game ticket sales, and retention initiatives across Georgia Techticketed sportsand select third-party events.

  • Establish data-driven sales strategies, pricing models, forecasting methodologies, and business plans that maximize revenue performance and long-term customer value.

  • Lead the organization's CRM, business intelligence, and analytics strategy,leveragingSalesforce,Paciolan, and related technologies to improve lead management, segmentation, pipeline performance, and customer engagement.

  • Develop predictive models, lead scoring methodologies, demand forecasting, propensity modeling, and capacity analysis to prioritize sales opportunities andoptimizeresource allocation.

  • Oversee the integrity, integration, and optimization of all ticketing, CRM, and business intelligence systems while driving automation that improves operational efficiency and decision-making.

  • Build executive dashboards and deliver weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting that provides actionable insights to Georgia Tech Athletics and LegendsGloballeadership.

  • Monitor sales pacing, renewal trends, pricing performance, and market demand to proactively recommend strategic adjustments that maximize revenue opportunities.

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the ticket sales and service organization by recruiting, developing, and supporting sales leadership while fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, professional development, and revenue growth.

  • Establish sales processes, activity standards, performance metrics, and accountability measures that drive consistent execution and revenue growth.

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive retention strategies, member engagement initiatives, and service touchpoints that improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and renewal performance.

  • Partner with the Alexander-Tharpe Fund to align ticket sales, premium seating, and philanthropic strategies that strengthen overall athletics revenue generation.

  • Collaborate closely with Athletics leadership, Marketing, Communications, External Relations, the Ticket Office, and Legends corporate leadership to align business strategy, campaign execution, and fan engagement initiatives.

  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations that influence organizational decision-making.

  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-enabled sales technologies, CRM automation, and sales enablement platforms to improve campaign performance, lead conversion, and operational efficiency.

  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and special projects requiring advanced business analysis, revenue planning, and executive collaboration.

  • Maintain a visible leadership presence during athletic events, premium experiences, and fan engagement initiatives while supporting key revenue-generating activities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ yearsof experience in ticket salesand analyticsrolespreferably within collegiateor professional sports.

  • Deep understanding ofCRM (Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics),ticketing systems (Paciolan/Ticketmaster),data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau),and Microsoft365 product suite (Excel/Word).

  • Technical fluency in database management, segmentation, and campaign automation.

  • Goal-oriented leaderwithabilitytorecruit, train, and developteam memberswhileholdingaccountable toidentifiedsalesand revenuebenchmarks.

  • Data and analytics mindedleaderwithstrongunderstanding of industry best practices, trends, software, and third-party vendors to support revenue growth.

  • Demonstrated success influencing business strategy through insights and executive communication.

  • Working knowledge of annual fundraising and digital marketing strategiesand tactics.

  • Motivated self-starter with exceptional organization, strategic thinking, and personal leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting,Marketing, Communications,or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
