The analytics developed and deployed in these ecosystems are critical to ensuring that the data flowing through the agency can be leveraged by analysts to perform mission critical reporting and decision making. Your contributions are...
- Analyze waveform and bitstream data to characterize communications signals and support signal exploitation efforts
- Develop recognition products (worksheets, parametric definitions, tables, and visuals) for integration into mission databases
- Evaluate signal data and reporting for accuracy, completeness, and validity
- Conduct signal surveys and research using open-source data sources
- Research emerging communications technologies and assess target usage trends
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to communicate findings and provide technical updates
- Prepare technical reports and briefings to document analytical results and support mission decision-making
- Mentor junior analysts and support task coordination across analytical efforts
- Support integration and enhancement of signal databases and exploitation capabilities
Requirements for your new career...
- Completion of analyst course 451 (Intermediate Signals Communications Processing Course) with completion of course 452 (Signals Communications Processing Course) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in signal analysis
- Experience analyzing waveform and bitstream communications data
- Experience developing signal characterization products and parametric definitions
- Familiarity with databases, SIGINT tools, and signal analysis workflows
- Experience evaluating and validating technical signal reporting and analytical outputs
- Knowledge of communications systems, protocols, and signal exploitation methods
- Experience preparing technical reports and briefings for technical and mission audiences
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and operational stakeholders
