Base operations refer to the essential activities and services required to support the daily functioning of a military or organizational base. This includes facility management, logistics, security, utilities, transportation, and support for personnel. To thrive in Base Operations, you need strong organizational, logistical, and problem-solving skills, often supported by experience in facility management or supply chain operations. Familiarity with asset management systems, scheduling software, and safety protocols is typically required, and certifications like OSHA or PMP can be advantageous. Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability are crucial soft skills for coordinating with diverse teams and responding effectively to dynamic situations. These skills and qualifications ensure efficient base functioning, safety, and mission readiness in high-demand environments.

  • Coordinate with local Communications Squadron and/or regional cybersecurity teams to configure, turn up, and cut over new deployments.
  • Assist O&M personnel in troubleshooting network‑related issues following deployment of new systems.
  • Resolve complex technical issues involving network infrastructure, hardware, and software, applying advanced expertise across multiple work assignments.
