Job description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Specialist with deep expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS) to lead and support projects for high-end commercial clients. This is a hands-on, leadership-driven role involving system design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and service BAS systems.

  • Set up and troubleshoot BAS networks (IP, RS-485) and verify I/O.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the BAS team.

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical plans, and low-voltage systems.

  • Ensure proper documentation, inspections, and safe work practices.

  • Assist with project management and client communication.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of BAS experience in design, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training.

  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with BAS platforms (Tridium Niagara AX/N4, Distech, Honeywell Spyder, Johnson Controls CCT/PCT).
