Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Job Status: Full time
Supervises: Lead Dietary Aide; Dietary Aide; Sanitation Specialist.

Position Summary: The Manager of food service will coordinate planning, ordering, and preparation of food for children and adult clients in accordance with the Wisconsin Child and Adult Care Food Program, as well as staff, café, and special functions. Supervise all aspects of Food Service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare the daily menu and direct the preparation of food.
  1. Prepare food for children, adult clients, staff, café customers, and special functions.
  1. Supervise cleaning procedures to ensure safe and sanitary conditions are maintained within the food service department.
  1. Meet and maintain all health and safety regulations
  1. Responsible for ordering food, supplies, and maintaining an ongoing inventory for the operation of the department.
  1. Set up a communication system with departments that request services.
  1. Remain current with Food and Safety regulations.
  1. Attend and conduct department meetings, all-staff meetings, Directors' meetings, and special event meetings as needed/requested.
  1. Compliant with regulatory agencies for menu development and enforcement of such standards.
  1. Type, implement and distribute menus for both the child and adult day programs.
  1. Attend classes to sustain Safe-Service Certification.

Follows all policies and procedures of St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care
Education/Training:
Experience in food service, Management with an ability to meet the needs of an intergenerational population, Safe- Service Certified.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to work independently and make sound judgments, Supervisor Experience, Exceptional organization and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to multitask with frequent interruptions, the ability to feed a large quantity of people in a safe and timely manner.
Excellent people skills. Ability to use Microsoft word and Excel.
