What is a barista?

Baristas in the USA are professionals who prepare and serve coffee and other beverages at cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants. They are skilled in operating espresso machines, grinding coffee beans, and creating a variety of drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brews. In addition to making drinks, baristas often take orders, handle payments, and maintain a clean work environment. Many baristas also develop customer service skills and knowledge about different coffee beans and brewing methods.
