Job description

Position Summary 


President Industrial Products is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Clerk to support inventory accuracy within our fast-paced warehouse distribution center. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity through daily cycle counts, barcode scanning, ERP transactions, and inventory discrepancy resolution. 


The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, enjoys working in a warehouse environment, and understands the importance of accurate inventory management in supporting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. 


Essential Responsibilities 


  • Perform daily cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy. 
  • Utilize barcode scanners to process inventory movements and transactions. 
  • Process inventory receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns within the ERP system. 
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner. 
  • Verify inventory locations and ensure products are stored accurately. 
  • Reconcile physical inventory with ERP records. 
  • Support receiving and shipping teams by verifying inventory transactions. 
  • Assist with periodic physical inventories. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation and reports. 
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies. 
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to improve inventory control processes. 


Qualifications 


  • 2+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience preferred. 
  • Experience working with an ERP system and barcode scanners required. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, understanding of inventory control and best practices 
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel. 
  • Ability to analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment.
