Job description

Bartender

The Bartender’s main objective is to serve customers at the bar and surrounding area.  The Bartender will accomplish this by having strong knowledge of classic cocktails and mixed drinks and the establishment’s menu. This position requires a commitment to excellence of every drink being produced, as well as a positive attitude.  The bartender will engage appropriate company directionality by ensuring every guest experience is held to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill out & perform daily bar opening duties checklist
  • Arrive at work ready to work by time of shift start
  • Ensure entire bar prep list is executed daily 
  • Communicate low stock alerts
  • Mix and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Check identification and confirm legal age
  • Recommend drinks based upon menu knowledge 
  • Uphold quality, safety, and sanitary standards.
  • Willingness to train on pre-probibition mixing methods and drinks.
  • Maintain a fun and safe environment.
  • Fill out & preform daily bar closing duties checklist 

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong organizational skill
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Food handler’s card
  • OLCC & at least 21 years of age
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current driver’s license & clean driving record 
  • 3 year bartending experience in upscale dining setting preferred
  • Knowledgeable in the field of food, beverage, and hospitality.
  • ServSafe certification strongly encouraged
