ROLE SUMMARY: The Outlet Barback is responsible for supporting the bartender and outlet team to ensure smooth bar operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role prepares and maintains bar areas, stocks supplies and assists in serving beverages when needed. As a Guest Service Support Expert, the Barback plays a vital role in ensuring that every interaction and transaction contributes to the Legendary Hospitality experience at Hotel Drover. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Embody the core values of Hotel Drover in every interaction.  

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, workstations, and service stations. 

  • Prepare and maintain batch mixes and pre-made ingredients used in-house to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality in beverage preparation. 

  • Efficiently clear and transport dishes and glassware from public spaces to designated areas, ensuring all guest areas remain tidy and presentable. 

  • Partner with the Warehouse team to receive deliveries, track inventory, and maintain proper storage and rotation of bar products. 

  • Stock beer, wine, liquor, juices, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies as directed.  

  • Assist bartenders with setup, side work, and breakdown of bar operations.  

  • Clean shelving, mixers, soda guns, blenders, stainless steel, and other bar equipment.  

  • Remove and dispose of trash in a timely manner, maintaining sanitary standards.  

  • Assist with food and beverage service to guests and team members when required. 

  • Support additional operational areas as needed, including the lobby, pool, and backyard activations to ensure seamless guest experiences across all outlets. 

  • All other duties as assigned.  

     ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. 

  • Must regularly lift, carry, and move objects weighing less than or equal to 50 lbs without assistance.  

  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, push, and pull, including reaching overhead and below the knees. 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to hot/cold conditions. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with guests, peers, and leaders.  

  • Flexible schedule; must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. 

  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.  

  • Food Handler and TABC Certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Previous hospitality experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant/bar environment.  

  • Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and passion for mixology. 

  • Familiarity with the Fort Worth Stockyards and local community
