Why You'll Love This Role:
  • Manage and execute the retrieval and delivery of parts to and from local vendors and suppliers to meet the needs of production and maintaining our supply chain
  • Ensure the safe, accurate, timely, damage-free, and cost-efficient material flow to support our operations in a manner that demonstrates, "Everything is Important."

What You'll Do:
  • Review manifests and parts lists for accuracy and to prioritize the daily schedule
  • Perform loading, driving, and unloading of items between Singer sites and our vendors/supplies
  • Safely load parts/items at pickup points and transport them to the destination in accordance with motor vehicle laws adhering to speed limits and safe operation of the vehicle
  • Ensure the load contents are secure for safe and undamaged delivery to the destination
  • Scan bar codes to properly record inventory location and delivery timing to meeting supply chain requirements
  • Review all delivery documentation to ensure the correct items are retrieved and delivered to the precise delivery location providing timely updates on delivery times
  • Maintain all applicable documents (paperwork) related to items being delivered to ensure they are not damaged during delivery
  • Inspect the vehicle, daily, to ensure it is safe and ready to use

Who We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years as a California licensed driver and a valid Class C license
  • Maintain an overall driving record free from major violations in the past three (3) years

Location & Schedule:
The home base for this role is Carson, CA. The schedule is Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pm with potential overtime.
