OVERVIEW
The Delivery-Installer is responsible for ensuring the successful installation of commercial kitchen equipment and exceptional delivery service to our customers. While performing the duties of this role, the Delivery-Installer must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Driving an automatic 26 ft. box truck (non CDL), DOT required
  • Preparation and assembly of equipment for delivery
  • Delivering and setting up commercial kitchen and bar equipment
  • Loading and unloading equipment and tools properly for delivery and work in the field
  • Troubleshooting delivery/installation issues
  • Small package delivery
  • Operating a forklift (Certification Required) will certify if needed
  • Maintaining a neat and organized work area
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations on job sites, while driving company vehicles and in Singer|Kittredge warehouses
  • Attending required safety trainings
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct during work hours

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • OSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus (Company paid if certification isn't current)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial distribution a plus
  • Experience in Foodservice related industry a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and a collaborative work style
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an attention to detail with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated
  • Customer oriented
  • Experience with driving straight trucks a plus
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Proficiency in reading layout drawings a plus
  • Proficiency in use of hand and power tools
  • Able to operate powered material handling equipment
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds and carry 50+ pounds
  • Primary work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. The position may require overtime hours, overnight stays, out of town travel and weekend work as needed
