Job description

Position: Bartender
Position Summary:
Somerby Golf Club is dedicated to hiring outstanding individuals who share our passion for hospitality. Our staff and their commitment to excellence are what set us apart. Member and guest satisfaction is our top priority. Somerby is seeking a part-time bartender over 18 years of age to join our team and deliver an exceptional experience in our restaurants and bars.
Compensation: $11.13 plus Tips
Job Tasks (Duties) including but not limited to:
• Greet and engage members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards
• Take food and beverage orders when needed
• Ensure proper cash handling and accurate use of the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed
• Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol
• Provide information on menu offerings and upcoming club events
• Assist with setup and breakdown of bar service for events or banquets
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older (21+ preferred)
• Previous bartending experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic drink recipes and responsible alcohol service
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift/move 20 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
