Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold high standards of food and beverage quality, and foster a vibrant environment that keeps guests coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills while creating memorable experiences for our patrons.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead and motivate a team of bartenders and service staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee food preparation related to bar offerings, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
  • Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through efficient stock management.
  • Ensure quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Supervise food safety practices, manage food handling procedures, and uphold cleanliness standards across the bar area.
  • Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and facilitate ongoing training & development initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance by analyzing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, and implementing cost-control measures.
  • Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork, leadership development, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings with bar experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience within the hospitality or food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
  • Background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management is highly desirable.
