Job Summary:

The Bar Back position at Catawba Two Kings Casino supports bartenders by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area. This role ensures beverages, supplies, and equipment are readily available to deliver exceptional service to guests. The Bar Back contributes to smooth bar operations, supports bartenders during high-volume periods, and upholds the casino’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Restock beer, wine, liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and bar supplies

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, storage rooms, and equipment

• Assist with bar prep, including slicing garnishes and restocking service stations

• Ensure product rotation and par levels are maintained

• Follow all alcohol handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines

• Support bartenders during peak hours and special events

• Remove trash, clean spills, and ensure bar areas remain guest-ready

• Assist with inventory control and notifying supervisors of needed supplies

• Provide friendly, professional assistance when interacting with guests

Qualifications

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License

Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred

Knowledge of basic bar operations and sanitation procedures

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong communication and organizational skills

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with bar POS systems and beverage control procedures

Experience in a casino, hotel, or high-volume service environment

Certifications in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) a plus
