Job description

Pay Rate: $13 hr + 10% commission on sales
About the Role
This position involves coordinating the beverage experience of our members and their guests at our Pool Terrace - the premier social location for our members. Private clubs are highly specialized environments, and our bartenders get to know our members and their preferences, while continuing to learn new craft cocktails and stay current with changing bar trends.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the presentation of the bar space, timing of the drinks served, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, and the presentation of a spotless image.
  • The positions also require a positive attitude at all times, a willingness to help others, and a desire to exceed expectations for our members and their guests.
  • Assist with club banquet events, or rotating positions within the restaurant when necessary.
  • The Pool bartender services the food and beverage needs of our pool guests.

Year Round and Seasonal position available.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years bartending experience required.
  • Must adhere to company standards and state laws regarding the service of alcohol
  • Currently certified in responsible service of alcohol, or be able to acquire certification upon hire
  • Maintain current knowledge of changing cocktail and beverage trends.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the entire bar and terrace area. Follow all specified pre and post shift duties.
  • Prior serving experience required in order to properly service both food and beverage needs for the pool area guests
  • Properly execute beverages to recipe specifications
  • Previous private club experience preferred. Prior upscale restaurant experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required. Must be the minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills
  • Must be able to work Weekends - Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pulling and lifting.
  • Continuous standing throughout the working day. Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours. Walking and repetitive actions for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to tolerate working in an outside environment with extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to lift and balance large oval trays with plates.
  • Must be able to carry and balance cocktail tray with Champagne flutes
