Their duties include monitoring premises, responding to emergencies, enforcing facility policies, and assisting staff, patients, and visitors. They are often trained in both security protocols and customer service, ensuring a welcoming and safe atmosphere for everyone on site. Depending on the institution, they may also handle access control, surveillance, and collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.

What key skills and qualifications are needed to excel as a Baptist Security officer?

To thrive as a Baptist Security Officer, you need a solid understanding of security protocols, incident response, and safety regulations, often supported by a high school diploma and relevant security certifications. Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control technology, and reporting software is typically required. Strong observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills help ensure safety and de-escalate tense situations.
