Job description

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to manage assessment recovery, real estate litigation, money judgments, bankruptcy, judgment enforcement, foreclosure, and real property matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving assessment recovery, real estate litigation, money judgments, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and real property matters.

  • Draft complaints, answers, discovery requests, motions, and legal documents.

  • Conduct legal research, witness preparation, depositions, and trial preparation.

  • Handle motion practice and trial proceedings.

  • Advise clients on case status, strategy, and legal developments.

  • Manage electronic task lists, deadlines, billing, and case workflow.

  • Coordinate with legal and administrative support staff.

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to practice law in Ohio.

  • Experience in real estate, corporate, contract, or civil litigation.

  • Knowledge of assessment recovery, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and judgment enforcement.

  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
