Job Description
The organization's risk management structure is designed to promote effective governance and risk management that is systematic, transparent, credible, timely, and verifiable through clear delineation and execution of key roles and responsibilities. Its goal is to manage risks that may impact the company, including credit, financial, liquidity, market, operational, reputational, strategic, and other risks as appropriate. The Senior Business Risk Manager will partner with Senior to Executive Leaders in their assigned Line of Business, Business Risk Consultants, Business Risk Managers and other Senior Business Risk Managers to, depending on the function, oversee the successful creation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective risk management framework. Mayay be accountable for projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. May be accountable to the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. May be accountable to the active identification, response and/or escalation of risks as appropriate. May be accountable to the policies and procedures to maximize profit potential and minimize regulatory exposure. May be accountable to an effective partnership between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 15 or more years of applicable experience
- Applicable certifications

- Expert understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Expert understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Proven ability to build and manage a team of business risk professionals who have credibility and work directly with business line management

- Strong skills in leadership and management of process, projects and people

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00
