SUMMARY:

The Teller will greet customers with a smile, assess and fill their needs in a professional manner.  This person must have the ability to communicate effectively while working quickly and with accuracy.  It is essential that you give the customer in front of you, your undivided attention while processing their transaction. Tellers have extensive contact with customers, vendors, the public, and bank staff and will interact in a professional and courteous manner.

This position, as a part time Customer Service Representative, will be 30-40 hours a week depending upon branch needs. This is an in-person position, M-Th 8:15am-5:15pm, and F 8:15am-6:15pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
  • Process all customer transactions
  • Learn and understand bank products and services by attending staff meetings and trainings.
  • Assist customers over the phone
  • Regular, on-site attendance during standard business hours is required to perform the duties of this position.
  • Regular and predictable attendance in order to accomplish assigned job duties
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of CCB.
  • Complete required bank and OnCourse training courses within assigned time frame(s).
  • All employees are accountable for compliance with applicable laws and regulations when performing their job duties. 
  • Each employee is expected to participate in required training to become familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements affecting his or her job responsibilities. 
  • Represent in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive “can-do” attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.  Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.

Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
