Commercial Banking Quality Assurance Analyst

Full-Time | Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Join a Team That Values People!

WoodTrust Bank offers a professional, friendly, and growth-oriented environment where every associate plays a meaningful role in our success. We’re currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Banking Quality Assurance Analyst to support commercial lending documentation, loan servicing, and quality assurance activities within the Commercial Banking Department. If you take pride in accuracy, enjoy supporting lending operations, and value collaboration in a service-focused environment, we’d like to welcome you to our Commercial Banking team.

About WoodTrust Bank

WoodTrust is one of the largest privately owned, full-service financial institutions headquartered in central and northern Wisconsin. With more than $8.4 billion in client assets under management and $725 million in bank assets, we serve individual, family, corporate, and not-for-profit clients across 40 states.

Since 1891, our core value has remained the same: the customer is #1. We are equally committed to our associates – providing a workplace where people can learn, grow, and build long-term careers. As a private, family-owned organization, we offer stability, opportunity, and a team of talented professionals who genuinely enjoy what they do.

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Banking Quality Assurance Analyst, you will support accurate, compliant, and timely commercial loan processing by reviewing documentation, coordinating closings, monitoring collateral requirements, and resolving documentation exceptions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare, review, and coordinate commercial loan closing documentation.
  • Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and bank requirements.
  • Verify borrower ownership structures, authorized signers, and required corporate approvals.
  • Coordinate title work, closing requirements, and scheduling with title companies and other parties.
  • Review new and existing customer files to confirm collateral documentation is complete, accurate, properly recorded, and compliant with perfection requirements.
  • Request, coordinate, and track outstanding documentation for loan origination, renewal, and servicing.
  • Identify and resolve exceptions promptly.
  • Order and review real estate appraisals and related collateral documents.
  • Provide loan processing and quality assurance support to Commercial Bankers and the Loan Operations Team.
  • Prepare meeting materials, maintain tracking tools, and update management reports.
  • Monitor expiring insurance policies, UCC filings, and other ongoing documentation requirements, obtaining updates as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring

The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience in lending, loan documentation, or banking operations is preferred.

Reporting to the Credit Administration Officer, this role works closely with Commercial Bankers, customers, title companies, and Loan Operations staff. You’ll thrive in this position if you bring:

  • An associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A customer-service mindset and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Sound judgment, initiative, follow-through, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment and business software used to prepare, track, and maintain documentation and reports.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Why Join WoodTrust

WoodTrust strives to be an employer of choice by offering meaningful work, long-term career paths, and a supportive environment where associates can succeed. This full-time position offers an excellent work-life balance and a comprehensive compensation package, including:

  • Competitive compensation
  • A full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, and sick leave
  • On-the-job training and opportunities for internal advancement
  • A fun, talented team that values collaboration and growth

WoodTrust is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
