Job description

Partners with Treasury Management Officers (TMO) to successfully manage and oversee all ongoing Treasury Management service and retention activities for Commercial Banking relationships. Provides direct support to TMO(s), assisting with daily management of assigned accounts, allowing TMOs time for direct client service and cultivation. Requires basic knowledge of deposit products, treasury management services and bank operations.

ย Essential Functions

  • Partners with TMOs to successfully manage and oversee all ongoing service and retention activities for Commercial Banking and TM relationships.
  • Assists with new client documentation and implementation requests.
  • Assists with treasury management service changes, service closures, and account analysis groupings.
  • Ensures seamless delivery of Treasury Management services to clients through efficient implementation and appropriate account maintenance.
  • Works with other Treasury Management personnel as needed to ensure prompt and accurate servicing while fostering teamwork and cooperation.
  • Monitors TMO Referral queue and engages TMOs as needed for timely action on the referrals.
  • Assists TMO with Treasury Management Review preparation.
  • Acts as resource for Treasury Management services, documentation, and processes for CSMs, RMs, and branches.
  • Assists TMO to ensure accurate implementation of exception pricing for services.
  • Solves problems in a timely and accurate manner, handling urgent and confidential matters to ensure continued goodwill and client retention, including the research, and troubleshooting of complex sales and service issues.
  • Manages office work and paper-flows, including fielding inquiries via phone and in person, etc. and ensuring adequate follow-up and closure on daily tasks and projects.
  • Maintains orderly, thorough, and accurate information files on current and potential clients adhering to bank standards and procedures.
  • Participates in long range planning responsibilities as part of annual relationship review process.
  • Organizes daily workflow by establishing work priorities and advises Treasury Management Officers as appropriate.
  • Analyzes workloads and workflows, designing and implementing guidelines known as โ€œBest Practices Policy Manualโ€ which define the most efficient way to conduct specific processes as well as continually upgrading and evaluating processes.
  • Performs other duties including but not limited to managing and/or coordinating special projects as assigned by TMOs or leadership.
  • Acts as a backup to team members, as needed.
  • Perform compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned.
  • Regular, reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications

  • College-level course work in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required. Applicable and related work experience may substitute.
  • Advanced knowledge of bank products as well as Commercial Banking laws and regulations, company and business line policies, and procedures preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Account Analysis statements including pricing, volumes, and various calculations used on the statements preferred.
  • Demonstrated competence in computer and technical skills, including spreadsheet and word processing software applications to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Strong knowledge of internal systems as needed for answering clientsโ€™ inquiries for Treasury Management services.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, correspondence abilities, spelling, etc. and the ability to clearly and concisely present complex concepts and ideas.
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism to communicate with Commercial Banking clients.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service to both internal and external clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people through well-developed negotiation skills and networking ability.
  • Ability to synthesize complex legal and financial data into meaningful, actionable information with the ability to clearly communicate objectives and information to clients, TMO(s) and Relationship Manager(s).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a drive for results.

Compensation:

Treasury Management Associate I: $20.67 - $31.03
Treasury Management Associate II: $22.50 - $33.76
Treasury Management Associate III: $26.63 - $39.94

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, Washington. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is eligible to participate in an applicable annual incentive compensation plan.
