This is an excellent opportunity for someone with data entry, administrative, accounting, customer service, leasing, or property management experience who is looking for a flexible, part-time position with the opportunity to learn and grow.

You’ll work directly with our experienced property management and accounting team, helping maintain accurate property, tenant, lease, vendor, and financial information within our property management systems.

Hours are flexible, with an ideal schedule of 4 days per week, 4–5 hours per day (approximately 16–20 hours per week). We are willing to work with the right candidate to establish a schedule that fits both the needs of the position and the candidate’s availability.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive, and who enjoys working with systems, records, and data. The successful candidate will be comfortable identifying discrepancies, following through on details, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately enter, maintain, and update property, tenant, lease, owner, and vendor information in property management software.
  • Enter and update rental rates, lease terms, deposits, contact information, and other property-related records.
  • Process and maintain invoices, bills, payments, and other financial information as directed.
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness and make corrections as needed.
  • Assist with setting up new tenants, properties, vendors, and accounts within the management system.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records and ensure documents are properly organized.
  • Assist with lease administration, including entering new leases, renewals, amendments, and other lease-related information.
  • Update tenant and property records as changes occur.
  • Assist with monthly reporting and ensure information is entered accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile information between property management software, spreadsheets, invoices, and other records when needed.
  • Assist property managers and accounting staff with administrative and data-related tasks.
  • Coordinate onsite inspections with local contractors.
  • Communicate with internal team members to obtain missing or incorrect information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of tenant, owner, financial, and company information.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or experience in property management, accounting, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, accounting, customer service, leasing, property management, banking, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and efficiently use property management and accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Dependable and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks.

Experience That Transfers Well

You may be a great fit for this position if you have experience with:

  • Property management or leasing.
  • Administrative or office support.
  • Data entry or records management.
  • Accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.
  • Banking, insurance, or financial services.
  • Customer service or client support.
  • Residential or commercial leases.
  • Large amounts of data and detailed records.
  • Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
  • Property management, accounting, or other business software.

You don't need to have experience in every area listed above. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, dependability, and a willingness to learn.

What We Offer

  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • Approximately 16–20 hours per week
  • Hands-on experience in commercial property management
  • Opportunity to grow with an established and expanding company
