Job description

The Branch Management team of this rapidly expanding community bank is designed to give hands on training involving the operations, policies and procedures of a Banking Center. This is done to give the individual enough training and confidence to become Banking Center Manager while knowing whom to contact to solve problems that are unfamiliar. The overall objective of this program is designed to produce highly trained individuals to effectively run a banking center. Successful candidates will go through a customized training program to master the duties of a Banking Center Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Actively identify, coach, develop and motivate support employees to provide superior service to every customer

Create an Environment in which employees excel

Set clear objectives and goals for the Branch and for each employee and monitor progress and track results

Generate sales in multiple areas in including mortgages, home equity loans, checking accounts, certificates of deposit and savings accounts

Ensure that branch employees comply with policies, procedures and regulatory banking requirements

Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, staff and members of the community

ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards within the industry and areas of responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding Leadership experience, a proven successful record of coaching and mentoring employees to improve results

Superb probing, analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities

Adaptability, flexibility and ability to work Branch hours; including Saturdays

Compliance with Dodd/Frank Truth in Lending Act

Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and registry eligible and Safe Act of 2008 compliant


College Degree preferred or equivalent five year retail banking experience

Two years of management experience preferred

Five years of retail banking experience strongly preferred

Mortgage Loan origination experience preferred
