Facilities & Physical Security Manager – Orlando

Job Summary

The Facilities & Physical Security Manager oversees the management, maintenance, and physical security of our bank’s facilities. This role includes managing leases, locating new facilities as needed, coordinating moves and/or build-outs for existing spaces, supporting access control, alarm, video surveillance, and other physical security systems, training of staff and managing related vendor relationships. The successful candidate will ensure that our physical spaces are safe, secure, efficient, and conducive to our business operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of lease contracts and manage relationships with landlords and property managers.
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate and manage moves as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage build-out projects for new and existing bank facilities.
  • Review and negotiate bids and agreements with contractors and vendors.
  • Gather due diligence documents on contractors and vendors.
  • Work closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Ensure facilities are compliant with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee physical security programs and procedures for bank facilities, including access control, alarm systems, video surveillance, keys/badges, visitor management, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with security vendors, building management, IT, Information Security, Risk/Compliance, and branch/department leadership on service, maintenance, testing, and upgrades of physical security systems.
  • Train staff on bank security.
  • Support physical security assessments, site reviews, incident follow-up, corrective actions, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
  • Maintain records for physical security equipment, service requests, inspections, access credentials, and vendor documentation.
  • Ensures BSA compliance by reading and being familiar with the BSA/AML program/policy; following all BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures; and completing all BSA/AML/OFAC related online courses.
  • All other tasks, responsibilities, or duties, as directed by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a banking or commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lease management, construction management, and building maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of physical security practices and systems, including access control, intrusion alarms, video surveillance, visitor management, and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage physical security projects, service issues, and incident follow-up.
  • Ability to travel to each location at least twice annually, more frequently as needed. Currently all 11 banking center and 3 operational locations are within the state of Florida.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
