Job Description

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Manages and oversees daily mortgage pricing activities, supporting all home lending pricing functions within a complex, highly analytical environment. Provides advanced financial analysis to inform pricing strategy, best execution, profitability optimization, and competitive positioning, including ad hoc analysis, market research, and strategic consulting for senior leadership. Develops, enhances, and maintains complex financial models, reporting tools, and statistical analyses to evaluate pricing performance, forecast trends, and guide data-driven decision-making. Prepares interest rate pricing and forecasting insights, delivering actionable recommendations that directly influence business strategy, policy development, and enterprise-level decision making. Leads and contributes to cross-functional quantitative initiatives, producing strategic pricing recommendations aligned with organizational goals. Ensures data integrity by researching, analyzing, and resolving discrepancies within loan origination systems and downstream reporting, while driving continuous improvement in pricing analytics, processes, and tools.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically six or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in Capital Markets or Secondary Marketing preferred
- Knowledge of the mortgage business preferred
- Strong technical skills related to Excel, data mining and reporting tools

- Experience with technical tools ( SAS, SQL, Python) for data mining
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and adhere to deadlines is imperative
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Well-developed mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
- Ability to analyze data and communicate the business story to management

Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
