Job description

SUMMARY:

The Part-Time Deposit Operations Associate is responsible for the administration of deposit operations products and services. The Part-Time Deposit Operations Associate provides superior customer service to internal and external clients, while conducting operational tasks.

This is an on-site, part-time position with 20 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Deposit Operations and Electronic Banking (75%)

  • Orders scanners, initiates tokens, and performs testing of user access and processes
  • Coordinates system issues with appropriate departments and opens cases with Fiserv for further troubleshooting when necessary
  • Conducts monthly audit reviews, 90-day and annual audits of cash management client files and services
  • Scans online enrollment forms into Director and files accordingly
  • Maintains knowledge of past and current bank products and services while staying updated on emerging technologies, services, and operational trends
  • Establishes and maintains procedures for all electronic banking and cash management services
  • Partners with Deposit Operations Officer to provide adequate information, education, and training to other departments within the Bank to ensure a collaborative and informative environment
  • Performs simple online banking updates to ensure clients have access to appropriate accounts and products.
  • Assists with projects within Deposit Operations that may include online banking clean-up and set-up of additional security measures

Client Service (20%)

  • Assists clients with Online Banking, including locked access and password resets
  • Answers incoming calls or emails to provide excellent client service regarding technical and operational questions or problems
  • Researches and investigates complex inquiries, fraud, errors, and other issues as necessary
  • Partners with clients on EnFact reporting to identify possible fraudulent transactions on debit cards

Back-Up Duties (5%)

  • Reviews and approves remote and mobile deposits throughout the day
  • Assists and provides back-up to daily reporting and account review
  • Process ACH returns for items originated by bank clients, including posting entries and return communication
  • Serves as the backupin the oversight of manual returns, fed adjustments, reclamations, manual PIMS, and other occurrences
  • Processes or verifies incoming and outgoing wire transfers while ensuring the use of proper procedures and the collection of applicable documentation
  • Provides backup assistance to Operations team members as necessary

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with special projects and functions, as needed.
  • Performs all job functions and interactions with fellow bank employees, customers, vendors, and prospective customers within the guidelines of the Drake Bank Mission and Core Values: Dedicated, Reliable, Authentic, Knowledgeable, and Ethical.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Continually enhances knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues through completion of all required online training and attendance at in-house and external training presentations.
  • Performs all job functions in accordance with Federal and State regulations and within banking policies.
