Job description

Extraco Banks is seeking a Private Banker to join our Private Banking team. This position is located on site in Harker Heights, Texas.
Summary:
Private Banking is responsible for developing, managing, and retaining full personal relationships with high income/high net worth Private Banking Clients. The Private Banker will provide banking strategies, advice, solutions, and a high level/high touch experience that is customized to meet the financial needs of Private Banking clients. The Private Banker is trusted with developing and maintaining client relationships as the primary point of contact by engaging the resources of other parts of the organization to provide meaningful and personalized service
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing Premier Banking clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking needs.
  • Identify and develop new relationships of potential Private Banking Clients both internal and external to the bank. This will include developing relationships through referrals from clients, Center of Influences, personal community involvement, internal partners, and mining for prospects in the existing Customers.
  • Profile across the full spectrum of the needs of Private Banking segments and provide tailored advice in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Utilize planning capabilities and develop solutions across consumer lending, deposit, investment, and all other appropriate services.
  • Work closely with the Private Banking Manager to develop, design, and create new and existing product enhancements that will contribute to the growth of the Private Bank and its customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure that clients receive excellent service and that the bank's goals are achieved.
  • Identify additional opportunities from existing Clients and leverage all resources and other colleagues to successfully become the client's lead or sole provider.
  • Manage relationships and a portfolio of Clients by planning, delivering, and regular review with clients. Deliver a high degree of personal contact and open communication among clients and internal team that creates an extraordinary experience.
  • Facilitate financial needs assessment review with clients and monitor their ongoing financial and personal circumstances to make adjustments or take action accordingly.
  • Ensure that the proposed solutions maximize the clients' goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate commercial, consumer and other loan requests through established processes.
  • Ensure that relationship/product growth plans have been developed in collaboration with the Director of Private Banking, and are implemented.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of products and services offered by Extraco Corporation including commercial loans, consumer loans, depository accounts, consulting, etc.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on various financial topics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in community events and activities to promote the bank and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • May work on projects with limited complexity in a support or advisory role.

Performance Measurements
  • Functions and banking services are effectively performed and completed in accordance with established Extraco policies, procedures and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Documents and reports are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely fashion.
  • Good working relationship/partnerships exist with Extraco personnel, management, customers, and vendors.
  • Adheres to prescribed KPI goals including but not limited to new business acquisition, product, deposit, loan growth, Client satisfaction, and Client retention.
