Job description

The Food Bank Coordinator contributes to AHF by supporting the day-to-day operations of the Food Bank, ensuring people living with HIV/AIDS receive access to nutritious, appropriate food as part of their care plan. This includes verifying client eligibility in CareWare, assisting clients with their SmartChoice food selections, preparing food orders for pick-up or home delivery, and coordinating the timely and respectful delivery of those orders. The Coordinator helps the program meet performance objectives and program deliverables by ensuring timely service, accurate data entry, and adherence to guidelines set by licensed nutrition professionals.
The Food Bank Coordinator enhances the reputation of AHF by delivering high-quality, client-focused food assistance with compassion and care. Their role in providing home deliveries to clients living with HIV/AIDS not only promotes food access but also supports client retention in care and improved health outcomes. Their close attention to detail, timeliness, and commitment to grant compliance reinforces AHF's reputation as a leading provider of integrated health and support services.
